Belief Systems in Verdallis
While not all religions in the world have been explored yet, a few prominent ones are integral to the stories already written.
The Order of The Ten
The Order of The Ten is, by far, the most prominent religion in the world. Within this religion, ten Gods/Goddesses are recognized along with two omnipotent beings. Worshipers can pray to any number of them, both collectively or individually.
Most cities have temples for each, though not all locales can afford to do so. However, there will always be at least one temple dedicated to Valmandus, the God Above All Others - the Maker and ruler of harmony.
Inversely, you will find no temples dedicated to Tuum, the God of chaos and destruction in Vasaak. Imperianum is agnostic and does allow worshippers to Tuum to practice - but more on them later!
Fathers and Mothers of Light run the Order and oversee parishoners. Many are Tulvaats, with some of the highest ranking are in the ears of powerful families.
The ten Gods/Goddesses are as follows (listed in Vasaak's caste order):
Igavik
The God of wealth, success, achievement, and skill. As it is written, Igavik was also Valmandus' first child. Despite his age, he is also the patron God of the Reverents and their Blessing of exceptionally long lives.
Igavik, while never as strong as many of his siblings, often came out the most cunning. He had the edge over them all, being first born. He watched them grow, learn, and mature. He knew each one's stengths, weaknesses, and most of all - how to exploit it for his gain.
He is depicted as a handsome and youthful man with pale skin, silver hair, and golden eyes. He often wears a blue double-breasted overcoat.

Together they fashioned a rocky bow that was light to the touch and fired unlimited beams of the dawn itself. Streams of light that would pierce the soul and not the skin. The Impassioned
The Impassioned are a smaller but more evangelical group in Imperianum who worship Tuum, the premordial God of chaos and brother of Valmandus.
Their belief is that nothing is truly saved until it stands the test of fire. All things start anew after the razing of the world.
While their organization started haphazardly, they have grown far more sophisticated with lofty goals.

The Church of the Signer
The Church of the Signer, rooted in ancient beliefs older than the Order of the Ten, worshiped a single, stern God demanding unity and salvation through the expulsion of impurities. Its followers believed in the Innerglim, their reality, and the Outerglim, a perilous realm constantly trying to infiltrate their world. Their doctrine dictates weekly penance and prayer to fortify this boundary, turning each follower into a vigilant warrior against spiritual corruption.
The Church of the Signer believes the God Stones that gave people Blessings were indeed gifts from the Signer, but were never meant to be consumed. Instead they were meant to be worshiped as pysical manefestations of the Signer.
As such, anyone who has the Blessing is hopelessly and irrevicably impure. The Church of the Signer believes all those with Blessings should be shunned and policed out of fear.
